Construction

The aluminium hull and deck were built by Gouwerok Shipyard in the Netherlands, internationally recognised for its expertise in aluminium yacht construction. There, the first structural elements—including the keel and engine room foundations—took shape before the yacht was transferred to Viareggio for outfitting, commissioning, and final delivery.

NAVAL ARCHITECTURE

The yacht’s naval architecture and exterior design are by Malcolm McKeon, whose vision combines performance, elegance, and innovation, marking a significant evolution for Nautor Swan by bringing together its performance-led sailing heritage with the opportunities offered by aluminium construction.

The design of Swan Alloy 44 combines clean proportions, flowing lines and carefully integrated glass elements to create a profile that feels both powerful and elegant. Dynamic even at rest, the yacht expresses performance through its stance while maintaining the understated sophistication that has always defined Swan.

The relationship between exterior and interior spaces is central. Generous glazing and carefully considered transitions create a strong connection with the sea, bringing natural light deep into the living spaces and allowing the experience of sailing to remain at the heart of life onboard.

The result is contemporary and refined, yet unmistakably Swan.

Interior design

The interiors have been created by Studio Liaigre, the Paris-based design house renowned for its understated elegance, refined craftsmanship, and timeless approach to luxury. Conceived around comfort, liveability, and a deep connection with the sea, the interiors offer an exceptional onboard experience while remaining true to the yacht’s authentic sailing spirit.

The Upper Deck is conceived as an open invitation to experience the sea. Generous, fluid and effortlessly connected to the outdoors, it offers a setting where moments of conviviality and quiet contemplation naturally unfold. Every element has been designed to frame the horizon and bring the sensation of sailing into the heart of life onboard.

The Lower Deck reveals a more intimate side of the Swan Alloy 44. Guided by emotion, the Alloy concept creates spaces defined not only by their beauty, but by the way they are experienced at sea. An understated sense of luxury shapes every detail, from the exceptional materials and soft textures to the harmonious proportions and refined simplicity. Sheltered from the elements yet intimately connected to the sea, the Lower Deck offers a serene private world where comfort and elegance become effortless.
