SWAN BONIFACIO CHALLENGE 2025

The opening event of the 2025 Swan One Design Nations League by ClubSwan Racing, hosted for the second consecutive year in the breathtaking port of Bonifacio, concluded after four days of thrilling racing and a vibrant week both on and off the water.

The Swan Bonifacio Challenge firmly establishes Bonifacio as an exceptional host, where dramatic limestone cliffs, crystal-clear waters, and historic Mediterranean charm provide a truly unique backdrop for world-class sailing.

Thanks to the impeccable organization of the Yacht Club de Bonifacio, under the leadership of President Michel Mallaroni, and the unwavering support of the city and its Mayor Jean Charles Orsucci, the event was executed to perfection — once again confirming Bonifacio’s status as a premier destination on the Swan One Design circuit.

A total of 31 yachts from 27 nations competed across four ClubSwan classes – ClubSwan 50, ClubSwan 42, ClubSwan 36, and the newly launched ClubSwan 28. The regatta also marked a significant milestone in the Nations League’s evolution, with two racecourses operating in parallel for the first time, a testament to the growth and international reach of the Swan one-design community.

The week was not just about racing. The Swan Bonifacio Challenge blended elite sport with signature hospitality—from the Opening Ceremony at the Bastion de l’Étendard to daily dockside gatherings, the Crew Party at B52 and the exclusive Owners Dinner held at the Centre Nautique. Saturday’s final prize giving brought together the international Swan family to celebrate the event’s champions and shared spirit of Swan Community camaraderie!
