Swan North American Series 2024
The competing Swan yachts achieved excellent results at the recent regattas in the Swan North American Series 2024.
At the Safe Harbor Race Weekend in Newport, RI (USA), held from August 9-11, ClubSwan 42 Zammermoos, Swan 45 Gemini II, and ClubSwan 42 Tio Loco secured third, fourth, and fifth place, respectively, in the ORC C class.
Additionally, ClubSwan 42 Impetuous placed second at the NYYC Race Week in Newport, held from July 17-20.
TROFEO MARIO FORMENTON, Porto Rafael (ITA), 20 August
The weather conditions were variable, with ominous clouds alternating with sunshine and a westerly wind reaching about 16 knots. Fifty boats and around 400 sailors enjoyed the classic route between the islands of the Maddalena Archipelago and back, finishing near Porto Rafael, where the race started around 12:00 PM. The ClubSwan 42 Suspiria The Revenge owned by Antonino Venneri was the fastest, completing the 21-mile course in 2 hours and 26 minutes, thus winning in real time ahead of the Swan 45 Thetis.
Swan Maxi Series 2024 – Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup, Porto Cervo (ITA), 8-14 September
Since its inception, the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup has been a showcase for the potential and evolution of yacht design and technology.
In the 2024 edition, more than 44 maxi yachts will compete in the crystalline waters of Sardinia. Among them, six Swan Maxis will take on a program of windward/leeward and inshore racing through and around the archipelago.
Rolex Swan Cup 2024 – Porto Cervo (ITA), 15-21 September 2024
More than 100 yachts have registered for the 22nd edition of the Rolex Swan Cup. This iconic event is the ultimate celebration of the Swan family, set against the stunning backdrop of the Costa Smeralda.
We can’t wait to welcome Swan owners, their crews, friends, and family to the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda for what promises to be an unforgettable event.
Swan Maxi Series 2024
September will host the most important regattas of the Swan Maxi Series 2024. In addition to the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup, our yachts will compete in Spain for the fourth edition of Ibiza JoySail from September 19-22 and in St. Tropez for the iconic Les Voiles from September 30 to October 6.
Swan North American Series – ORC World Championship – NYYC, September 27 – October 5
The 2024 ORC World Championship will bring top sailing teams from around the globe to compete on Rhode Island Sound and Narragansett Bay for one of four coveted world titles.
This marks the first time in nearly a quarter century that sailing’s offshore world titles will be decided on American waters. Among the six Swan yachts registered, the first hull of the recently launched ClubSwan 43 will compete in Class A.
