The Nations League – Swan Sardinia Challenge, Algero (ITA) – 25-29 June 2024

The Swan Sardinia Challenge 2024, an exclusive international event for the Swan One Design Classes ClubSwan 36 and ClubSwan 50 has successfully concluded after a thrilling series of races and a week full of high-level onshore events.

The event was promoted by the Autonomous Region of Sardinia, Department of Tourism, Crafts and Commerce, made possible thanks to Comune di Alghero, Fondazione Alghero, Consorzio Porto di Alghero, Federvela III Zona, Yacht Club Alghero and Lega Navale Italiana Alghero.

Gspot and Hatari win respectively in the ClubSwan 36 and ClubSwan 50.

Swan Med Series 2024 and Swan Maxi Series 2024- Loro Piana Giraglia, Genoa/St. Tropez (FRA/ITA) – 7-15 June 2024

The Loro Piana Giraglia, Italy’s biggest offshore race, challenged sailors with a 241-mile course from Saint-Tropez to Giraglia and Genoa.

Swan 45 FROM NOW ON took 1st place in the combined scoring under ORC, winning the offshore race and securing 2nd place in the inshore races.

Despite winds between 25 and 35 knots and rough seas, Fernando Chain and his team navigated the course successfully, showcasing the strength and capability of Swan yachts in competitive sailing under ORC.

Congratulations to Pier Luigi Loro Piana and the crew of ClubSwan 80 My Song, who finished in 2nd position in the Loro Piana Giraglia offshore race.

Competing in a fleet of 129 boats over a 241-mile course, My Song achieved a remarkable result, taking advantage of the excellent conditions on the return from Corsica.

Newport to Bermuda Race 2024, 21 June 2024

The prestigious Newport to Bermuda race kicked off on Friday, June 21st, featuring a remarkable presence of 13 Swan yachts among the 166 entries. Highlighting the event is the new Swan 58, WAVEWALKER, marking a significant return to American waters for Nautor Swan, placing 5th in the Gibbs Hill Lighthouse division.

Great results also came from Swan 56 TRAMONTANA, which gained 2nd place in the Finisterre Division.

S&S SWAN CAPRAIA RALLY, Capraia (ITA), 21-23 June

Twenty three members of the S&S Swan Association gathered with their own S&S Swans during  21-23 June 2024, in Capraia Island (Tuscan Archipelago) for a special weekend dedicated to them.

This event, the first in a series to be held every two years, is all about enjoying time together and sharing a renowned place known for its beauty and hospitality, as well as a passion for these wonderful sailboats, over fifty years old, which display their elegance and beauty continuously along the main dock.

The Nations League 2024 – Trofeo S.M. La Reina, Valencia (ESP), 4-7 July 2024

A total of 128 boats, divided into different classes, will compete in the coming days. Organizationally, this significantly surpasses the number from the previous edition, increasing from 106 to 128 units, meaning that more than twenty boats have joined this prestigious nautical event. Additionally, the SM La Reina Trophy will be a scoring event for The Nations League circuit in the ClubSwan 42 class, competing from July 5th to 7th.
