Round the Island Race
Cowes (GBR), 1 July
The strong weather conditions set out to challenge the 1,100 boat fleet which started from the famous Royal Yacht Squadron line in Cowes.
Great results for the Swan yachts participating in this iconic race:
Swan 37 Mojitabel and Swan 36 Scherzo of Cowes were second respectively in IRC 3A and IRC 3C Class, Swan 65 Desperado of Cowes won in ISC 4A class while Swan 36 Alpha Helix gained the 4th place in ISC 4A class.
Rolex Fastnet Race
Cowes (GBR), 22-28 July
The race, first conceived in 1925, has over the years etched its iconic status in the annals of sport. The impressive fleet, divided into eight distinct groups, took off from the prestigious Royal Yacht Squadron line.
A stunning result for the crew of ClubSwan 50 Balthasar finishing the race in 4 days 12:39:38 placing 7th in IRC overall among 358 yachts participating.
Copa del Rey MAPFRE
Palma de Mallorca (ESP), 29 July – 5 August
The ClubSwan Racing family has gathered once again for the Copa del Rey MAPFRE, with the 41st edition of the classic Mallorcan regatta marking the mid-way point of the closely contested ClubSwan Racing season.
With all still to play for in the ClubSwan 50 and ClubSwan 42 one-design classes, as well as the Nations League inter-country competition, results out on the Bay of Palma could play a significant part in deciding the final outcomes.
And with several yachts also racing in three of the ORC handicap classes a total of 26 Swans is taking part, comprising some 25% of the overall entry list.
SWAN SERIES PROVISIONAL RANKING
The racing season is moving to the final events and the rankings are taking shape:
Swan Baltic Series:
After three events Swan 43 Sunchaser, Swan 36 Aurora and Swan 45 Aurora are on the podium.
Swan Solent Series:
After two events Swan 65 Desperado of Cowes, Swan 37 Mojitabel and Swan 36 Alpha Helix are the leading three yachts.
Swan Med Series:
After three events the ClubSwan 42s Suspiria the Revenge, Morgan V and Be Wild are leading the ranking
Swan North American Series:
After two events, the ClubSwan 42s Impetuous, Tio Loco and Entropy are on the podium.
