SWAN NORTH AMERICAN SERIES – NYYC 169 Annual Regatta

Newport 9-11 June

The first event of the Swan North American series sees an en plein in the Around-the-Island during NYYC 169 Annual Regatta in ORC C:

  1. S45 GEMINI II
  2. CS42 IMPETUOUS
  3. CS42 ENTROPY

Cumulative results in ORC C sees:

  1. CS42 IMPETUOUS
  2. CS42 TIO LOCO

SWAN MED SERIES – Rolex Giraglia

St. Tropez/Genova (FRA/ITA) 11-17 June

70 years after the first edition of this iconic regatta, on June 10th in the waters of Saint Tropez, 184 yachts from around the world were expected to start the registration procedure for the three days of inshore races, before embarking on the long race.

In ORC 1, the race was fought between Swans, ending with two 45s and a 42 taking the first three places: Alberto de Castro’s Brujo, Fernando Chain’s From Now On and 42 Suspiria the Revenge owned by Antonio Venneri.

In ORC class, 5 Swan placed in the first 10 positions:

1° S45 FROM NOW ON

2° CS42 SUSPIRIA THE REVENGE

6° S 45 BRUJO

8° CS42 DARING SISTERS

9° S45 THETIS

While CS42 SUSPIRIA THE REVENGE, placed first overall in ORC Combined class.

SWAN BALTIC SERIES – Kieler Woche

Kiel, GER 17-25 June

The 143rd edition of Kieler Woche attracted more than 1400 entries from 51 nations.

Congratulations to CS42 Sirena, which placed first in the Kiel Cup and to Swan 45 Katima that gained the podium in the fully crewed ORC.

ClubSwan 42 Entropy, respectively first, second and third in ORC 2.

Superyacht Cup Palma

Palma de Mallorca (ESP) 21-24 June

The four-day regatta ran from June 21st till 24th, and saw a fleet of high-performance sailing yachts put through their paces in the Bay of Palma. Impressive results in class B: Swan 100 Onyx gained second place and Swan 80 Umiko finished third.

S&S Swan Rendez-Vous

Marciana Marina (ITA) 28 June – 2 July

The international fleet of the 10th edition of the S&S Swan Rendezvous saw yachts and owners coming from all over Europe, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, the United States and Brazil.

The event was dedicated to the memory of Lars Ström who recently passed away. Lars, ran the Finnish shipyard, Nautor Swan, technical department for over thirty years, and was the best friend that the S&S Swan owners could have ever had.

Congratulations to the winner of the different divisions:

– Swan 44 SOLANO winner in Cruising Division and winner as Classic in 36/44 ft Group

– Swan 65 MASCALZONE LATINO winner in Racing Division

– Swan 36 ISABELLA winner in White Sails Division

In addition:

– Swan 47 VANESSA winner as Classic in 46/65 ft Group
