Major refits and the start of our racing series.

A series of successful deliveries of sailing yachts, that saw major refits take place over the course of several months by the entire team, of which we have collected some feedback from our happy clients.

The racing season is here! NSGS is hosting at the Scarlino Yard two large fleets, ClubSwan 50 and TP52.

CLUBSWAN AND TP52 GETTING READY FOR RACING

The beautiful ClubSwan 50 fleet lined up alongside the Super Series 52 boats.

Two incredible one design fleets, which rely on the experience of the Nautor Swan Global Service Scarlino Boatyard, where an expert team is dedicated to them.

With its long standing experience working with one design fleets, the boatyard is well-equipped to cater to the specific needs of these teams, which will be racing for qualification in the second event of the year at the end of May.

DRIFTER CUBE REFIT

This week we have shared the completion of the refit done on Swan 98-002 Drifter Cube, launching again to the water 18 weeks since arrival. So, yes, we did it again: lifted and moved a 70 tonne Swan at the Badalona Yard. Amazing things can happen at Nautor Swan Global Service!

Detail on the new hatches, built and installed by #joinery department and #fittings department at the Badalona Yard. This has been a work of precision and craftsmanship, respecting the original model to ensure the integration of all elements.

FIXATION REFIT

Here is a refit that makes everyone feel proud. Swan 46 Fixation, has had several improvements during the work carried out over the winter:

• Mast unstep and step, mast and boom painting and electrical jobs.
• Rig service
• Vang and backstay service
• Topsides and coachroof polishing
• New teak installation
• Antifouling
• Propeller service, anode substitution and painting, all seacocks replaced
• Rudder bearings replaced
• Engine service and other engine jobs

REDER MOR UPGRADES

Swan 371-048 Reder Mor back to La Rochelle from Badalona Yard. The new owner of this Swan 371 built in 1980 trusted the NSGS team to do a major upgrade on the boat’s chainplate structures as well as important repair jobs.

? “I have made the choice of Nautor Swan in Badalona because I wanted the job done to the Rules of the art. I am really satisfied by the job made by the team of Badalona”.

The boat arrived in Badalona by truck and left by road as well. NSGS Hamble services are close to La Rochelle so we will be able to follow up on the work done and future needs.
