Swan Croatia Challenge

25-29 April 2023 – Split (CRO)

The Swan Croatia Challenge launched the ClubSwan Racing season in sensational style last week with a range of wind and weather conditions delivering exceptional racing for the 10-strong fleet of one design ClubSwan 36s.

G Spot, skippered by Giangiacomo Serena di Lapigio, dominated the competition with an impressive 5 consecutive race wins, taking the top spot with 4.0 points.

CUORDILEONE, led by Edoardo Ferragamo, secured second place with 12.0 points, and FRA MARTINA, with Edoardo Pavesio at the helm, finished third with 14.0 points.

The entire fleet showcased their skills and determination, making this a truly memorable regatta. Special mentions go to the teams of GODDESS, FARSTAR, MAMAO, SIXTH SENSE, BLACK SEAL, BLACK BATTALION, and GO RACING – UNIVERSITY OF SPLIT, who all contributed to an exciting and closely fought competition.

ClubSwan 50 Scarlino Warm up

14-16 April 2023 – Marina di Scarlino (ITA)

The ClubSwan 50 Warm Up kicked off the Yacht Club Isole di Toscana with a weekend dedicated to the Swan One Designs.

Nine ClubSwan 50s tested their technical skills in front of Marina di Scarlino, preparing for The Nations League Circuit 2023 starting in just one month.

The weekend program consisted of training races, with several sailors of international calibre, making this a real hotbed in view of the imminent start of the season.

The conditions were also quite challenging, with a building mistral wind on the first day and a meteorologically complex day on the second day, while a grand finale with a northerly breeze enabled the fleet to sail three gorgeous races on Sunday.

The ClubSwan 50 class will reunite in just one week for the Swan Sardinia Challenge in Villasimius!

Les Voiles de St Barth

16 – 22 April 2023

Nautor Swan congratulates ClubSwan 50 Balthasar and its owner, Filip Balcaen, on their victory in the CSA 1 class at the esteemed Les Voiles de St. Barths regatta.
 
Balthasar’s capable crew showcased teamwork and determination in challenging conditions, winning all four races and achieving a total score of 4. We applaud Filip Balcaen, the crew, and everyone involved in this remarkable result.

Swan Mediterranean Series – ORC Europeans

Congratulations to ClubSwan 42 Be Wild for winning the ORC European Championships!

ClubSwan Racing congratulates Renzo Grottesi’s ClubSwan 42 Be Wild for their outstanding performance at the 2023 ORC European Championship held in Ta’Xbiex, Malta. Throughout the week, the competition was intense, with close finishes and challenging conditions.

Be Wild demonstrated exceptional performance and teamwork, ultimately emerging as the 2023 ORC Class B European Champion. Owner Renzo Grottesi expressed his pride in the team and praised their communication and Enrico Zennaro’s valuable experience with the ClubSwan 42.

We’d like to extend our appreciation to the Royal Malta Yacht Club for hosting the event, and congratulate all the competitors for their excellent sportsmanship and determination.
