CLUBSWAN STORIES – ClubSwan 42 Pez de Abril

ClubSwan 42 Pez de Abril described by her owner Jose María Meseguer

Pez de Abril is the translation of the French “Poisson d´avril” which is the name of the little paper fishshape kids hang on people’s back on April fools’ day.

In Spain this is call “dia de los santos inocentes”

At the time we were dreaming of having such a boat in order to compete and enter in the ¨Swan family” we had then a nice 45 foot cruising boat and never though a Swan would be within our reach..It was an innocent dream…

There came a time where the dream became real, we found our Swan45-025 and put our hands on her..It was an innocent dream which came true, so one of many kids, present in the conversation in the past reminded us of this April Fools’ day name.. we just translated the French version into Spanish so it was not so obvious…
