01 Dec ARC RACE Gran Canaria to St.Lucia – Start on November 22nd
The additional challenges brought by the COVID-19 pandemic have of course changed things this year, but the vibrant mood and palpable excitement of departure day was as evident as it has been throughout the rally’s 35-year history and the ocean beckoned for the eager sailors to begin their adventure to Saint Lucia.
Three Swan yachts graced the starting line, all competing in Cruising I Class:
- Swan 65 BLUE MAGIC
- Swan 48 S&S MONTANA
- Swan 66 SALPARE
According to our live updates, Swan 65 Blue Magic has already passed halfway and is leading the cruising class with a good marginal and also in good positions overall.
Samuli Salanterä, Nautor’s Swan Board Member and Commodore of the Yacht Club Turku (FIN), is joining Blue Magic crew.
