Juerg Schneider, owner of the Swan 65 Saida, talks about his love for sailing and for his wonderful yacht. His passion and pure enthusiasm for his boat are evident.

Why Nautor Swan and why a Swan yacht 65?

I have been sailing for over 40 years now. In my younger years a dinghy regattas (Fireball 470) at home and abroad, at long-distance regattas on Swiss lakes and for more than 20 years with friends again and again on a cruise, most often in the Mediterranean. Almost 10 years ago, for various reasons, I had a strong desire to have my own sailboat.

For me, however, it was always clear that it should not be just any sailing boat from the large series. I wanted more than that.

I wanted a boat with an incomparable history and aura. I wanted an incomparable beauty. But I also wanted a boat with which I could perhaps even sail around the world.
