Twenty-three Classic Swan yachts, from the renowned Swan 36 (launched in 1967), to the larger Swan 65, during 3 days of costal races, have shown their elegant yet timeless lines designed from 1966 to 1978 by Sparkman & Stephens studio.
Reduced course also for the final day of the 9th S&S Swan Rendez-vous on the island of Elba. Also on this day the weather conditions saw the start with a north-easterly wind which then stabilized from the mistral with maximum intensity up to 6/7 knots. First to cross the finish line in real time Alpha Centauri, Swan 65 of the German couple Matthias and Edith Maus.
After three days of racing with three heats under his belt he wins the overall scoring which includes both the Moby and Toremar classes, the smallest of the entire fleet, Josian, Swan 36 of the Florentine Eugenio Alphandery.
