Our Polo Team participated in the first all women’s Polo tournament in support of the Susan G. Komen Foundation for the fight against breast cancer and gained second place.

Ginevra Visconti, the team manager, commented: “It was a very close match until the last second, between two teams with top-level players. We had bad luck with a couple of missed goals and a penalty not whistled that could have turned into the winning goal. As a great polo player, Paul Pieres, who always inspires me, says “only one wins”. However, for us it was a great victory to have been able to participate in an event where polo is finally not only sport and glamour, but also a way to raise funds for important causes, in this case for breast cancer research. KOMEN is achieving tremendous results”.
