With the success of the ClubSwan 36, 50 and 125 models, the range is renowned as the highest performing, most innovative and most technologically advanced segment of the company. And yet, there was still an exciting opportunity to complete the ClubSwan line with a new model.
The ClubSwan 80 has been conceived to be a very fast and high-performance yacht, completely in line with her sisters, based on the concept of One Design yachts.
All the boats are specifically designed to sail in short-distance racing, participating in the traditional events of the maxi circuit and specialized in light to medium winds (VMG sailing).
Racing has been in Swan’s DNA since the very beginning and the brand’s thrilling regattas are the most eagerly awaited events by our owners. Since 2002, when the Swan 45 was first launched, Swan started on this route and today its One Design circuit of events is one of the most successful in the world, with a consistent number of yachts participating. 
Obviously, the ClubSwan 80 will take advantage of this well-established, worldwide circuit of events, which is why the Nautor’s Swan Racing Office is developing its dedicated One Design class rules. One of the most important rules, as for all OD racing regattas, is the owner driver, where the owner of the yacht must helm the boat; this allows passionate owners to sail at a very high level while still being manageable and in a friendly environment. The program drafted for the ClubSwan 80 Class will have five events a year, with 25 days of racing, one winner, and a dedicated world championship that will be a standalone event.

Swan 95, Lot 99, boasts an exciting and diverse yachting narrative which includes no less than a 55000nm circumnavigation. During her round-the-world trip Lot 99 rounded the Cape of Good Hope and participated in the RORC Caribbean 600 race.
The owner says: “Lot 99 is a very comfortable boat that makes you feel confident under any circumstances. Below deck, it is very quiet and comfortable and on deck, she is very responsive to the helm and greedy for wind. Although you always feel in control, it never becomes boring. Lot99 is now back at our facility in Jakobstad for an extensive refit period which includes service and warranty work. She'll be launched in June 2021 again in a perfect shape for her future adventures, whether enjoying the thrills and spills of racing or indulging in unsurpassable comfort on a family cruise.

Swan 65 Blue Magic celebrating her arrival in Saint Lucia with the traditional rum punch. After 14 days and 10 hrs of sailing, including flyning the kite days and nights, Blue Magic finished 4th overall and 1^st in Cruising Class in line honors, and we are very proud of this success! "This ex Fazer Blue Magic is in very nice shape. It was a pleasure to have the possibility to sail her hard" - says Blue Magic's crew, after this exciting experience.
Great achievements for Nautor’s Swan in the final scoring that sees Swan 65 Blue Magic 6^th in Cruising Class A and Swan 48 Montana 3^rd in Cruising Class B.

In your opinion, what are the features that make a Swan, a safe and reliable performance cruiser?
A big part of our decision was the knowledge that combining the known quality and history of Swan with the same from Frers made for a pedigree that would be unbeatable in every respect.
What are your plans with Cooloola? Who will crew the yacht during your next cruises?
Our plans are to do some cruising in our beautiful local waterways while we are restricted in movements. As the world becomes more accessible in the coming months and years we will venture further afield in our region.
Do you also plan to participate in regattas?
Yes, we will do some nice regattas both inshore and offshore. I’m considering Hamilton Island regatta in 2021, Sydney to Auckland race in 2022.
Why the name Cooloola? Where does it come from?
The Cooloola region of Australia is on the north coast in the vicinity of the world heritage site of Fraser Island. It is where we grew up. The word is from the local first nation people and means the sound that the wind makes when blowing through the coastal she-oak trees.

This year a number of just-launched Swans made their way from upper Finland to the fjord of Flensburg. Their destination being the authorised Service Center at Flensburger Yacht-Service, handling Swans for more than 30 years.
Flensburg Fjord is a very attractive sailing area close to the Danish archipelago and its border. We can offer moorings up to 100 ft. in our two yacht harbours with over 400 berths. All facilities connected to water sports are offered by Flensburger Yacht-Service like winter storage in and outdoors, haul out, all services, maintenance, repairs, refits, Nautor’s Swan spare parts supply, a complete yacht chandlery with relevant products and many other services.
This winter eight Swan Yachts, including two brand new Swan 48s are located in the heated sheds. Two extensive refit projects are currently underway on a Swan 46 and Swan 45, new hull paint, under water hull refit, new teak deck, exchange of standing and running rigging and especially in the case of the Swan 45, a complete regatta optimization.
Due to the long lasting experience with these legendary Swan yachts FYS is able to handle all type of Swans no matter what age. Furthermore we are experts in the brokerage field in case you consider the sale of your Swan yacht.
