The second hull of the maxi Swan 98 left Finland some days ago bound for the Mediterranean Sea with stopovers planned en-route. After an adventorous sailing with 25 knots and serious waves, Difter Cube arrived safely in Stockholm. Currently the boat is heading to Denmark! Good winds!

Fitting out works on S58-001 are proceeding rapidly with deck teaking in progress and system assembly work.
Meantime, the third hull is ready to be moved from the lamination shop into the paint facility for final colour application.

Hull 16 has reached Scarlino, ready to be delivered to her excited owner who will compete in the upcoming Swan One Design Worlds.

In spite of the restrictions imposed by the ongoing global pandemic, the team at Nautor’s Swan is offering to bring some relief for Swan owners and their crew, along with fans and aficionados of the famous brand. From 13 to 20 October, the Nautor’s Swan Experience is scheduled to be held at the impressive Marina di Scarlino in Baia Scarlino on the Tuscan seaboard, host to the recent Swan Tuscany Challenge, which was received with great enthusiasm by participating owners. Comprising two overlapping events, the inaugural Swan One Design Worlds and the Swan Private Boat Show, this unique occasion will offer a 360º insight into the world of Swan.
The Swan One Design Worlds featuring ClubSwan 50s, ClubSwan 36s, ClubSwan 42s and Swan 45s will take place from 13 to 17 October, while the Private Boat Show, from 16 to 20 October, will exhibit examples from the Swan range, including: Swan 98, Swan 78, Swan 65, Swan 54 and Swan 48 models.

Two of the bestselling models in the Nautor’s Swan range opened the Autumn Season by participating in the I Saloni Nautici in Genoa from October 1^st to 6^th.The yachts on display were a Swan 48 with an elegant blue hull and a refined Swan Soul interior designed by Misa Poggi alongside a beautiful example of the Swan 65.This yacht features a cool grey hull, stunning walnut joinery and owner-forward layout.Both yachts are the true representation of the Finnish brand's DNA: quality, elegance, performance and innovation.

Nineteen One Design yachts moored in the beautiful Marina di Scarlino, met for four days of intense racing to test their abilities and prepare for the upcoming Swan One Design Worlds, taking place from October 13th to 17th in the same venue.
With good winds, sunny days and blue skies, the Tuscan Archipelago turned out to be a magnificent arena for the teams to compete.
A great result for ClubSwan 50 Hatari gaining first place in class at her first ever participation in a Swan One Design regatta.
Three ClubSwan 36s finished tied for first place after seven races proving the quality of the One Design; the podium was reached by CS36 Thirtysix.
Tight match racing occurred between the two Swan 45s participating, Motions and K-Force, with the former winning the competition.

The 135^th edition of Kieler Woche saw the participation and the victory of Swan 46 MKII Rarotonga in ORC II class. Christoph Mählmann, part of the crew since 1995, commented on the result. “We love to sail her in strong winds and when it is time for the up-wind leg in such conditions, she is showing what a SWAN 46 is made for” Mählmann explained the main reason for this outstanding result. “The weather conditions have been perfect, with a lot of wind up to 35 knots, during the largest sailing event in the world, taking place in Kiel every year. Great to see that one of Nautor’s older designs and construction can still be a winner of its class, when sailed right. The Rarotonga-Sailing-Team is based on the ownership of Werner Lemmel, who fully supports us and provides the yacht faithfully for hard racing. The whole Team is very thankful for this and pass their regards to the Owners.” Our congratulations go out to Rarotonga, Crew, and Owner.

A great result for a well-raced Swan during the New York Yacht Club Race Week presented by Rolex: ClubSwan 42 Impetuous gained first place in ORC 2. Congratulations to the owner, Paul Zabetakis and to the whole team.

Nautor’s Swan Polo Team (Ginevra Visconti, Leonardo Bassetti, Bautista Fanelli, Frankie Menendez) had a very successful season this summer at Villa a Sesta Polo Club, by winning the Ripaltella Polo Trophy, the Mid August trophy, and the Lupinari Cup. The Nautor’s Swan Polo team also participated at the Federmanager Tuscany event exhibition, by playing a demonstrative high goal match for the manager’s association private event.
Moreover, on September 27^th the team won the Gold Cup at Villa Sesta, the most important event of the season.

“Hatari means Danger in Swahili. I was born in Mombasa and I grew up in Kenya. My father was in shipping and he was a passionate sailor.
He owned two Swans, a 38 and a 441 on which I sailed many miles. He won many races in Mombasa with a boat called Hatari.
