Nautor’s Swan returned to the bay of Naples for the Rolex Capri Sailing Week with a consistent fleet.
The first race, the Tre Golfi regatta, was won in the Maxi class by Swan 651 Lunz am Meer and the second place went to another Swan 651, Rosbeg.
In the Maxi ORC Cruiser Racer division, victory went to Vicente Garcia Torres’ Swan 80 Plis Play, and in third place, another good place for Riccardo Pavoncelli’s Swan 651 Rosbeg.
In Maxi ORC Racer Cruiser, Swan 601 Lorina 1985 finished in second place overall. Swan 45 Ulika, owned by Stefano Masi, won the Campionato Nazionale del Tirreno in ORC Class 0 Cruiser Racer division.
Great results for our fleet; in fact, two of the three Rolex watches went to Swan yachts. In the ORC A COMBINED SCORING (Tre Golfi regatta + Campionato Nazionale del Tirreno) ClubSwan 42 Be Wild gained the first place, while in the MAXI COMBINED SCORING (Tre Golfi regatta + Maxi Yacht Capri Trophy) the victory went to Swan 651 Rosbeg.
The Capri ClubSwan Award was won by Plis Play in the Maxis and BeWild in the ORC Division.
Swan 65 Spirit of Europe, competing in the Maxi Class, was a fully female helmed and managed boat. The well-known Cristiana Monina ran the team together with Claudia Addezio, in the role of Captain. They were accompanied by other superstars in the sailing panorama: Giulia Conti, Francesca Clapcich and Giovanna Micol, Olympic champions, Sally Barkow who competed in 2 Volvo Ocean Races and Claudia Rossi, J-70 class European champion in 2016 and 2017.
