The fortune of Nautor’s Swan was made with a 36 footer, one of the first yachts built in fibreglass. With her combination of fast lines, incorporating a modern separated fin keel and skeg hung rudder, and her fully fitted interior, she represented one of the very first production racer/cruisers (90 delivered boats from 1967 to 1970).
From the sinuous lines of the Sparkman and Stephens design, with a deep long keel and elegant wooden deck fittings, there has been a long unstoppable evolution towards the sharp minimal design of Juan K. After 52 years of the same enthusiasm and belief in innovation, these are still the basic ingredients for creating the ClubSwan 36.
