Swan New England Rendezvous 2010

Nautor’s Swan and Jamestown Boat Yard are pleased to announce the Swan New England Rendezvous, 29 July – 1 August 2010. This Rendezvous has been developed following the success of the ClubSwan Caribbean Rendezvous style of event held in the British Virgin Islands.

The Swan New England Rendezvous will be begin with an Opening Reception to welcome all participants to the Rendezvous at Clingstone “House on the Rocks”. Friday 30 July will see the yachts in a fun race from Newport, RI, to the island of Cuttyhunk, MA, for a lobster bake buffet and awards in the evening. Cuttyhunk is an island known for its relaxing environment and will enable the Swan Rendezvous participants to enjoy the tranquil Massachusetts setting.

Day two of sailing will see the Swan fleet fun race to the scenic Block Island, which is 12 miles off the Rhode Island coast and has been heralded as “one of the last twelve great places in the Western Hemisphere”. Here the Rendezvous fleet will enjoy a Cocktail Party at the Narrangansett Hotel.

Finally the Swan’s will sail in a fun race to the island of Jamestown in the Narragansett Bay. The Jamestown Boat Yard will then host the final Prize Giving with a BBQ and beers over the course of the afternoon on the beach at Jamestown Boat Yard.
