Cruising Rendezvous at the Rolex Swan Cup 2010

The Rolex Swan Cup (Porto Cervo, Sardinia, September 13-19) will see the first edition of the cruising “Rendezvous at the Rolex Swan Cup"

The Rendez-vous runs in parallel to the racing events, and is intended for those Swan yachts who do not wish to race, but would still like to be a part of the Rolex Swan Cup. 

With the focus set firmly on fun, friends, family and social sailing, ClubSwan will be running a programme of day cruises in company to outstandingly beautiful locations on the coast and islands of Costa Smeralda.   The Rendezvous days will typically start by cheering on the racing fleets at their starts. Then the fleet will cruise to a selected local destination, typically a sheltered bay, or island anchorage for lunch, and a range of other activities. Finally we will leave for Porto Cervo once again. If any of the yachts wish there would be an optional fun race back to port.

During the evenings, the rendez-vous fleet may enjoy the same renowned social programme as the racing yachts.  

Any Swan yacht wishing to enter the Rendez-vous at the Rolex Swan Cup may do so by downloading the Notice of Race from the Yacht club’s website (www.yccs.it). Choose “Regate" and then click on the “Rolex Swan Cup and Swan 45 World Championship". Next click on “Rolex Swan Cup: notice of Race and Entry Form"
